Free parenting classes are offered this spring semester by the Glendale Community College Parent Education program.
Five new parent and child classes have been added for the semester that begins Tuesday, Feb. 19.
Parents attend the free classes with their children to participate in activities designed to stimulate the development of young children. Parents learn skills and strategies for positive and effective child-raising.
Professional child educators lead group discussion on a wide variety of topics including discipline, nutrition, safety, communication and more.
Classes are held at the GCC Life Skills Building and other locations in Glendale and La Crescenta.
