SIMI VALLEY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION TO CELEBRATE WOMEN AT
HATS OFF TO WOMEN EVENT APRIL 25
Luncheon, Fashion Show, Silent Auction & Health Screenings
SIMI VALLEY, CA - Attention ladies! Simi Valley Hospital Foundation's "Hats Off to Women!" event is scheduled for Friday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum located at 40 Presidential Drive in Simi Valley. Participants will enjoy a fabulous luncheon, silent auction, free health screenings, fashion show and presentation of the "Simi Valley Woman of the Year" award.
The event's keynote speaker is nationally recognized Jacqueline Berger, who will present a dynamic historical portrait of our nation's first ladies - their ambitions, their passions and their romances, complete with just enough "sizzle" to make it fun for all who attend.
Also central to this year's "Hats Off to Women!" fundraiser is a special tribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). The NBCF has donated a digital mammography system to Simi Valley Hospital, bringing the latest technology in mammography to the women of the community.
Janelle and Neal Hail, President and Executive Director of the NBCF will be recognized for this generous donation, and will also present a check to Simi Valley President (name) for an additional $50,000 to fund mammography screenings for uninsured women at the Nancy Reagan Breast Center. On behalf of the women of our community, the City of Simi Valley, Simi Valley Hospital and the Simi Valley Hospital Foundation will express their heartfelt appreciation to the Hails at this year's "Hats Off to Women!" event.
Participants will also be able to take advantage of free health screenings at the event - compliments of Regal Medical Group and Community Medical Group.
Screenings will include blood pressure, bone density, diabetes and cholesterol.
The fashion show portion of the event is sponsored by the hospital's Medical Staff. Models will include women from the community and members of the hospital's Volunteer Guild.
Event Sponsors for "Hats Off to Women!" include the Nation Breast Cancer Foundation, Regal Medical Group, Community Medical Group, Janzen, Johnston & Rockwell Emergency Medicine Management Services, the Simi Valley Hospital Medical Staff, and Santa Barbara Bank & Trust.
Tickets are $55 per person. Please call (805) 955-8144 for more information.
