The Armenian National Treasures Foundation (ANTF) has organized an Armenian Holiday Concert featuring the Cilicia Symphonic Orchestra, with world renowned conductor Meastro
Mikael Avetisian, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at the Glendale Presbyterian Church.
The orchestra will play traditional Armenian holiday scores that have been part of the Armenian Heritage for more than 100 years, and also present works from well known Armenian composers.
Invited guests and ticket holders will experience the traditional songs Armenians sing and play during their holiday gatherings and celebrations, and also see on two large screens, snapshots of biographies of famous Armenian inventors, composers and writers throughout history as the songs are being performed.
The entire concert will be taped and broadcast internationally via satellite and via the Internet.

Meastro Avetisyan is a recipient of the City of Glendale and the County of Los Angeles Artistic Achievement Diamond Award.
