GCC art exhibition focus is political themes

"The Whole World is Watching," a group art exhibition curated by Irene Tsatsos, is on display in the Glendale Community College Art Gallery through Nov. 8.

The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Tsatsos is a curator, contemporary art advisor and writer based in Los Angeles. Featured artists in the exhibition are Rheim Alkadhi, Mike Arcega, Joyce Campbell, Eve Fowler, Ed Gomez, Emilie Halpern, Gustavo Herrera, Anna Sew Hoy, OIga Koumoundouros, Shana Lutker, Eamon Ore-Giron, Marco Rios, Shizu Saldamando, Maya Schindler, Joel Tauber and Peter Wu.

The exhibition is a pre-election response to current political events and presents work that relates to the idea of taking matters into one's own hands to affect change.
