Planetarium hosts 'Evening With the Stars'

"Evening with the Stars" presentations will be held in the Glendale Community College Planetarium at 8 p.m.Friday, July 18, and at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 19.

Planetarium manager Paul Buehler takes guests on a 75-minute fact-filled ride out to the edge of the cosmos, and back again, introducing them to the stars, constellations and planets.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. No credit cards.

The doors must remain closed during the planetarium shows and no late seating will be accommodated.

The college is located at 1500 N. Verdugo Road.

Reservations may be made in advance at www.glendale.edu/planetarium. The reservations will hold seats for up to 15 minutes prior to the show.
