Verdugo Hills Hospital's (VHH) Beginnings Family Birth Center made record-breaking history, delivering six sets of twins during the month of July. More than 20 years ago, VHH had five sets of twins born during a month-long period.
On July 18, new parents
Anahid
and
Harout Torosyan
of Glendale welcomed their twin boys,
Arman
(born at 4:23 p.m. - 4 pounds) and
Alex
(born at 4:24 pm - 4 pounds, 9 ounces). The couple said they received wonderful service at VHH.
"The service at Verdugo Hills Hospital is very good, from the labor and delivery nurses to the nursery and post-partum nurses," said new mom Anahid. "Everyone is very caring and we are very thankful to everyone. It is a very caring hospital and a very nice facility."
Similarly, new mom
Anet Boyajian
, who gave birth to twins - boy,
Jacques
, and girl,
Milana
- on July 16. It was the same day of her and her husband's eight-year wedding anniversary.
She was also very pleased with the care she received at VHH. "The nurses are excellent. I'm very happy with their service," she said.
"Verdugo Hills Hospital's OB department has outstanding nurses who day after day try to provide a wonderful birth experience for our couples," said
Sandi Davis
, clinical director of perinatal services at VHH. "Before, during and after birth, our OB education department offers support as they continue the adventure of parenthood."
