Glendale Adventist Medical Center (GAMC) is proud to announce its association with several prominent neurosurgeons from USC. A team of five USC doctors have joined GAMC's medical staff and recently opened an office in Glendale.

The USC neurosurgery team members each bring years of experience and cutting-edge expertise in the treatment of many neurological conditions, such as tumors, aneurysm, stroke, arteriovenous malformation, cerebrovascular disorders and spine conditions.

"In most cases, patients no longer have to travel to USC to get full-service care provided by the university," says Erick Stephanian, MD, GAMC neurosurgeon and faculty member at USC. "The university has come to Glendale and the surrounding communities."

Dr. Stephanian's practice will solely be based on campus at Glendale Adventist Medical Center.

Dr. Stephanian is a graduate of the USC School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and is board certified in neurological surgery.

Dr. Stephanian has practiced in Indiana for the past 14 years, and is the immediate past president of the Indiana Neurosurgical Society.

Glendale Adventist Medical Center recently earned theGold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission for Advanced Primary Stroke Centers.
