The Women's Council of Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation will host the 25th annual Main Event, this year called "Dreams of Fall," at the Glendale Hilton Hotel at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1.
The hospital's annual fund-raising event will include dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions, and live entertainment.
The funds raised at this year's Main Event will be used for the Hospital's Emergency Room, primarily for the purchase of telemetry and pediatric equipment.
"The Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation's Women's Council is very excited about the opportunity to raise funds this year for the Hospital's Emergency Room," said
Chris Mason
, chair of the Women's Council. "This valuable facility stands ready 24/7 to serve whoever enters its doors, and it is a very important presence in our community. We encourage and welcome your support at our Nov. 1 Main Event, to be held at our new venue, the Glendale Hilton."
Last year, the Main Event raised more than $220,000 toward the purchase of digital mammography equipment for VHH. The Women's Council is the No. 1 contributor to the VHH Foundation.
Individual tickets to the Main Event cost $150 and table sponsorships are $1,200 for a table of eight. To reserve your tickets or for more information on sponsorship options or donating an auction item, please contact the VHH Women's Council at 818-952-2228.
"Since founded in 1973, the Women's Council has raised close to $3 million, thanks to wonderful friends, neighbors and sponsors who support the Main Event and other endeavors taken on by the Women's Council," said
Mary Reichley
, one of the fundraising chairs of the Women's Council. "This year, the Women's Council is celebrating 35 years of dedicated service to VHH. We thank the community in advance for their generous support and look forward to many more years together helping the Hospital continue its mission of providing personalized and cost-effective medical care for the community we serve."
