Orchestra to perform 'Mars' at spring concert

What:
The Glendale College Community Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Theodore Stern, will give a concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 18, in the college's auditorium.

The program will feature Gustav Holst's "Mars" and Franz Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2." Other compositions performed will be Ralph Vaughan William's "Norfolk Rhapsody," "Lachian Dances 1 & 2" by Leos Janacek and a serenade for 13 winds by Richard Strauss.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. They may be purchased at the door.
