Walk of Fame nominations

The city of Burbank Park, Recreation and Community Services Department, the Burbank Park, Recreation and Community Services Board and the Burbank Athletic Federation are accepting nominations for the 2007 Burbank Athletics Walk of Fame Induction. Nominees will be considered that began their involvement in 1975 or earlier, although they could still be involved more recently.

To nominate a deserving individual complete a Burbank Athletics Walk of Fame application and submit the completed application and forms to the Burbank Sports Office located at Olive Recreation Center by Thursday, June 1.

The applications and detailed information supporting the nominations will be verified and reviewed by the Criteria Committee consisting of members from the Burbank Park, Recreation and Community Services Board and the Burbank Athletic Federation.

Upon review, the Criteria Committee will then make selections regarding the inclusion of the nominees based on established criteria identifying a comprehensive involvement in sports programs sponsored by the City of Burbank Park, Recreation and Community Services Department. The date for the next Burbank Athletics Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony will be scheduled in October 2007.
