7th annual holiday MVP Basketball Camp for youth

The city of Burbank Park, Recreation, and Community Services Department Presents the 7th Annual MVP Basketball Camp for boys and girls in grades fourth through eighth.

The camp will be held at Verdugo Recreation Center, 3201 W. Verdugo Ave. Burbank, Jan. 2-5, 2007 from 1 - 4 p.m.

The cost is $80.

Camp features include Instruction in basketball fundamentals, T-shirt, gym bag, player profile card outlining strengths and weaknesses, basketball videos,self help and drills booklet, pizza lunch last day of camp,free throw contests, pickup games, certificate of participation, guest speakers, and raffle prizes.

The Camp Director is long time Basketball coach and City of Burbank Recreation Coordinator Mike Graceffo. Mike has been involved in youth sports in Burbank for over 30 years! Mike has also coached Basketball at one time or another at all four local Burbank High Schools. Mike is also currently the Athletic Director at St. Francis Xavier School.

"We will help you improve your total game defense,shooting,offense, team play, and knowledge of the game, while having a great time doing it" Space is limited to the first 45 signups. Registration Deadline is Friday Dec. 22. For more information please call (818) 238-5390.
