The Mojo was rising at Michaels Restaurant
Contributed by: Gary Judy on 6/23/2007

Mojo Filter Blues exploded onto the stage
at Michael's Bar and Grill on Olive Avenue
in Burbank last month.

Michael's is my favorite Steak and Seafood
Restaurant and a 'best kept' secret
of Burbank dining.

My Friends and I enjoy the variety of dishes
offered by award winning Chef Arnoldo.

Michael's has expanded their menu to
include the ol' Mardi Gras Menu that was
immensely popular in Toluca Lake

Michael's has entertainment five nights a week with Karaoke by Q-It-Up. Karaoke nights are on Monday, and Thursday through and Saturday, making Michael's a popular evening destination.

A couple weeks ago however, The Mojo was rising with rocking and bluesy jams. One of the best five piece band I've seen in ages. These tight musicians were bringing up the beats. Guitarist & lead singer, Dave belted out strong vocals set the pace, while Lady Lori rolled out her own smokin' vocals and sweet harmonies across the board.

Yes, that was one good time. I got a real kick out of the straight ahead
rocking version of Prince's Kiss, and a sax crying blues from stage left.
Oh yeah, we were dancing all night.....Ongoing specials make Michael's a favorite night spot.
