Firefighters were tackling a brush fire near Universal City about 1:30 p.m. today near the 3600 block of North Barham Boulevard.
Officials said the fire had covered about three acres in the area east of Universal City and west of Griffith Park.
The blaze was moving quickly, fueled by winds of about 5 miles per hour, according to fire officials.
No structures were in danger, however, including a nearby apartment complex, officials said.
