Contributed by: Louise Paziak on 7/30/2007

The Burbank Sister City Committee is pleased to host 14 students and city officials visiting from sister city, Incheon Metropolitan City, South Korea.

The visitors will arrive in Burbank on Aug. 2 for a two-week stay. This is the first time there has been a student exchange between the city of Burbank and Incheon.

The students will live with Burbank host families, improving their English skills and experiencing Burbank hospitality. A full itinerary has been set to introduce them to local sights and attractions, such as a tour of Warner Bros. Studio, Disneyland, a visit to the San Fernando Mission and a tour of UCLA.

The Incheon delegation will also visit the Aug. 13 Burbank City Council meeting, tour the city of Burbank and shop at the Empire Center.

During their stay, the students will get a taste of American life enjoying picnics, beach parties and other activities.

Next August, the Burbank Sister City Committee will send Burbank students to visit Incheon Metropolitan City as part of their ongoing cultural exchange program.
