Fourteen Webelos Scouts from Pack #225 have earned the Arrow of Light Award, Cub Scouting's highest honor.
The Scouts were recognized in a dramatic ceremony during the pack's March 19 pack meeting at First United Methodist Church of Burbank.
Each boy received a hand-made arrow, symbolizing their successful completion of the badge, which includes developing outdoor skills, learning the values of Scouting and preparing to become a Boy Scout.
Webelos Scouts who have earned the Arrow of Light Award have completed all requirements for the Boy Scout badge. This recognition is also the only Cub Scout badge that can be worn on the Boy Scout uniform when a boy graduates into a troop.
The following boys earned the Arrow of Light Award:
Andrew Bogenschutz
Brett Camacho
Matt Daniel
Jarrett Duran
Matthew Higginbotham
Noah Lueneberg
Brett Monji
Danny Murphy
Joseph Servin
Raymond Shideler
