The Haunt Brings both Fright and Cheers

Dominas Exus, the very face of all evil, and the fiends he commands will rise up out of the ashes to honor the King of Halloween and raise money for Kiwanis International and Life Rolls On - two organizations dedicated to helping kids be kids.

HauntsUSA Founders Harlan and Laura Freedman started The Haunt in 2002 with the mission of creating a fundraising event to help raise money for local and national charities while creating an amazing Halloween haunted house attraction and Fall festival for all ages of families to enjoy. The Haunt has become the number one Haunted House in the greater Los Angeles area. Since it's inception, The Haunt has made donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Boys and Girls Club of Hollywood. This year, in addition Kiwanis International an organization that works to keep kids off the street, HauntsUSA is also raising funds for Life Rolls On (LRO).

"These charities are near and dear to our hearts," says Laura. "We've added Life Rolls On this year because the organization helps children to overcome the incredible obstacles associated with severe spinal cord injuries. We've got children ourselves and it just goes back to our philosophy of giving kids all they need to succeed."

The nightmare begins in the spectacular 30,000 square foot Haunted House on Thursday, October 11th at the haunting hour of 6:30 p.m. and will continue every Thursday through Sunday through Halloween. The Haunt also features rides, live music, games, food, as well as, scream, costume and talent contests throughout the season.
