Calvary Chapel Burbank, a non-denominational Christian church in Burbank, recently delivered Bibles to the Burbank City Jail.
Patrick Dougherty
, the relief ministry leader, said, "The Glory is God's. As Christians, we are called to help others in need (Matthew 25:35-36). Folks who have ended up in the criminal justice system can use some guidance that the Bible provides. Learning about God, Jesus and that we are all loved, is the first step to life enhancement for many folks. This is part of the Lord's commitment to the community. You are loved."
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

Wow, what a great ministry. How many did you deliver? Were you able to talk to any of the inmates? Did some of them request Bibles? Is this a continuing ministry?
