Lancaster, April 7, 2008- A bird watching walk will be led by award winning artist and member of the A.V. Audubon Society, Ron Smith. The walk will take place along the trails of the Prime Desert Woodland Preserve on Saturday, April 12 starting at 8am. As you walk the trails Ron will identify resident birds and spring visitors. Remember to bring a field guide and binoculars. The walk will begin with a short talk for beginners in the Elyze Clifford Interpretive Center at the Prime Desert Woodland Preserve located on the corner of 35th Street West and Avenue K8. There is no charge for this event. If you have any questions please call (661) 723-6230.
