It seems that over the past few decades' Blues has always been very serious.
THE BLUES ZONE BAND (BZB) brings personality back into the picture. Sunny Boy Williamson and Muddy Waters would be proud of their "new brand of Blues". The songs on their new CD
("Hot to Trot") are a collection of several different styles yet; The Blues Zone Band has a style of their own. If you are into what the Blues was in the 1940's, 50's, and early 60's, then the BZB is a must hear! The Blues Zone Band is known for "Putting The Fun Back In The Blues"! There is one reason that we can think of, to make our own special brand of The Blues, and that is only for...YOUR ENJOYMENT!

ROGER REINHART - Lead Vocals/Guitars/Harp
Roger started singing in theatrical shows at a very early age. When he reached his teens he picked up guitar and started writing songs. It was always the vocals and strong lyrics that drew his attention and he was influenced by the great "Tin Pan Alley" songwriters of that colorful period. In all styles of the musical media that surrounded him he kept coming back to the Blues. Over the past few decades, he has entertained as a single act and in a few different groups up and down the west coast. During that time Roger also sang a few of his original songs on "The Merv Griffin Show". He wrote and starred in a one-man show titled "
The Blues Zone." His love for the blues harp added to his sound and soon "The Blues Zone Band" was born. Finding his new family in "The Zone Band" was the perfect mix.
ALLAN FELDMAN - Bass/Guitars/Vocals
Allan first picked up the guitar shortly after hearing the
Beatles and the
Rolling Stones on the radio. When
Cream made the scene in the late 60's Allan convinced his parents to get him his first electric guitar. Heavily influenced by the likes of
Eric Clapton and
Jimmy Page, Allan discovered the "roots" of the music he so enjoys playing.
Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Robert Johnson, along with dozens of other blues artists helped shape Allan's love for the Blues. In the mid-90's Allan began playing the Bass, as well as the guitar, thus expanding his musical journey. According to Allan, "Hooking up with the Blues Zone Band was the most refreshing and enjoyable music experience I have encountered since first taking up the electric guitar."
KAREN BROWN - Keyboards/Vocals
Karen at a very early age began performing in film and television commercials. Her interests evolved into voice-over work, playing piano, plus singing and dancing in various world renown musical groups. Her many theater credits include the Evita understudy in the L.A. company of "Evita." After playing with musician/songwriter John Tesh, Karen joined the "Blues Zone Band" and became the last piece of the puzzle. The world of Blues received yet another daughter whose input and style brings added entertainment with heart and soul.
GISELA - Drums/Vocals
Gisela has lived and traveled all over Europe as a top fashion model. After rubbing shoulders with both the "Royals" and the "Rockers", it looks like the "Rockers" won her over. Her fondness for American music has always been very strong but her love for the drums was even stronger. After leaving the fashion world she headed for the states. Gisela has played in clubs from Oklahoma to California. In between acting/commercials and print work, she has found her groove in "The Blues Zone Band".
