The JammX Kids are simply kids helping kids. TheJammX Kids, a group of nine multicultural kids between the ages of 10 and 17, are on a real important mission: to get youngsters everywhere up onto their feet - movin', groovin' and dancin' toward healthier, more physically active lifestyles.
TheJammX Kids are about building strong bodies and positive mental attitudes the old fashion way - with a well-balanced diet and a regular exercise program.
The United States is in a health crisis of epidemic proportions. Kids have become more sedentary than any other time in our history, thanks to television, cell phones, video games, computers and the Internet.
And, inactive children are not only prone to obesity and a whole host of other diseases, but also they are more likely to become inactive and sickly adults. Experts agree that physical activity produces overall physical as well as psychological and social benefits.
So what is one of the most fun physical activities that increase endurance, strength and flexibility and at the same time builds self-esteem and self-confidence? The answer is simple: movin', groovin' and dancin' with TheJammX Kids.
