MOCA features work of Woodbury professor

Woodbury University School of Architecture adjunct faculty member Emily White has a project featured at the Museum of Contemporary Art ina current exhibition, Skin + Bones: Parallel Practices in Fashion and Architecture. The project which she worked on in collaboration with Peter Testa and Devyn Weiser,consists of a tower of woven strands of carbon fiber. As described in the gallery guide, the architects "conduct extensive research to develop buildings utilizing synthetic textiles, which can be constructed with traditional textile techniques such as braiding, weaving, and knitting." The exhibition runs through March 5.
