The annual holiday program of BCR "a place to grow" was held Nov. 14 to a standing-room-only crowd at St. Francis Xavier Church in Burbank.
The program is an annual event that brings families, friends and community members together to celebrate the talents of BCR clients and raise money for programs and activities.
This year's themes, "A Salute to the Holidays" and "Random Acts of Kindness" highlighted favorite holiday traditions as well as demonstrated how clients want to give and receive acts of kindness in their lives and world.
Many businesses and organizations, along with BCR board members and families, generously donated items to support the silent auction, bake and raffle sales, which raised over $4,000 for programs and activities for the 100 clients that attend BCR each day.
The non-profit organization was founded in 1963 and supports children and adults with developmental disabilities in Burbank.
