Attorney John Brink likes to have Brad Korb on the case when it involves the sale of inherited real estate, and he's quick to recommend Korb to anyone who'll ask.

Brink, who practices in the area of estate and probate law for the Glendale firm of Irsfeld, Irsfeld & Younger, said he's worked with Korb often over the past few years in connection with probate sales.

"The guy just knows how to get it done," Brink said, chuckling.

"But his skills are especially welcome to me in my field because often in a probate sale, the property may have been ignored for awhile and needs to be rehabilitated," Brink said. Korb said he's done many probate sales over the years and he enjoys working with attorneys such as Brink. He's also well equipped for unexpected challenges that are occasionally part of a probate scenario, where "people" skills come in especially handy.

"Sometimes it's really good to have a middle person," Korb said. "There might be family members in disagreement, and when you're in the middle, you can soften the blows when emotions get involved.
