Gift exchanges are all fine and good at the office holiday party, but this year
Brad Korb discovered that the players on his team wanted to do something more.
"Rather than spending money on presents for our annual gift exchange, the people in my office wanted to do something as a team that would be beneficial for the community," Korb said. "So we decided to go out and buy toys instead, and to give them to Burbank Temporary Aid Center."
The BTAC provides a wide safety net for people who are experiencing hard times for whatever reason.
So, at their annual office holiday party, Korb's team members exchanged small token gifts with each other, but saved their biggest presents for kids in needy families.
"I think this might be the start of a great new office tradition," Korb said.
