The Friday before Thanksgiving is becoming quite a tradition in Burbank - that's the day for Holiday in the Park, a combination holiday celebration and open house in the Magnolia Park District.

Naturally, Brad Korb and his team took part in the Nov. 16 event, handing out free bottled water, pens, Frisbees, lollipops, and balloons, and a $50 gift card from a well-known department store.

"The fun part was getting to see the families come by and being able to give things to the children - the holidays are all about the wonderment of children," said Shandi DeHaven, Customer Care Coach of the Brad Korb Team. "People would walk by and say, 'I know Brad!' or 'We get his newspaper,' or 'We bought our house from Brad!' It was a lot of fun. Community events like this are always wonderful."
