Diskeeper Corp. in Burbank was the proud host of 24 high school students who flew in to tour the company's world headquarters.
The group was composed of teens from a special class on entrepreneurship at the prestigious Delphian School, a prep school in Oregon.
Diskeeper was chosen because ofits success as the maker of the number one PC performance-enhancement software in world.
Two of the school's alumni also hold executive positions in marketing and public A afairs at the company.
A passionate mentor of budding entrepreneurs, Diskeeper's Founder and Chairman
Craig Jensen provided the students with a four-hour behind-the-scenes tour of his 76,000 sqare-foot facility.
This was followed by a candid sit-down conference, where students were allowed to ask any question desired about starting, running and expanding a successful enterprise.
"This kind of real world exposure is invaluable to our students," notes Delphian Assistant Headmaster
Mark Siegel. "Mr. Jensen showed them that the American dream is alive and well at Diskeeper Corp.; and that they, too, can accomplish their dreams as young entrepreneurs."
Diskeeper has appeared on the "Inc. 500" list of the "Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in America" for four years running; and the "Software 100" list of the Top Independent Software Companies in the World (
