Performance will celebrate Jack London

What:

The Burbank Public Library is joining in partnership with The Huntington Library in celebrating "The Big Read," a series of events focusing on Jack London and his book, "The Call of The Wild."

Burbank will host acclaimed actor Michael Oakes ( www.liveoaks.com), who will give a powerful portrayal of the author and adventurer.

The performance will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at the Buena Vista Branch Library, 300 N. Buena Vista St.

"The Big Read" is funded by a grant by the National Endowment for the Arts.
