Take a haunted adventure at local nature center

What:	NEXT › ‹ PREVIOUS Get ready for a frightful night at the annual Haunted AdventureTour, sponsored by the Burbank Park, Recreation and Community Services Department. It will be held on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 17 and 18, Tickets for the 15-minute spooky tour are $5 per person and will be sold from 7 to 9:30 p.m. each night. The Burbank nature docents will lead you on a frightening tour of the Stough Canyon Nature Center, which will be turned into haunted house. An adult must accompany children under 12 years old. This tour is very scary and children under 6 years old will not be allowed. No refunds for scared participants. The first hour of Friday night's tour will be a less scary version, but could still cause nightmares. In addition to the $5 tickets, light refreshments and souvenirs will be sold. Proceeds will benefit the Burbank Park, Recreation and Community Services Department's Nature Program. Face painting, live animals and a mini-maze will help the participants start the fright night off right. People interested in the tour should meet at Stough Park, near the Starlight Bowl, off of Walnut Avenue. Participants will begin the tour by being shuttled to the Stough Canyon Nature Center.
