As I jump to unfounded conclusions. I would say that civilizations that reach a high point with technology eventually implode on themselves.
I think the lesson is that technology or knowledge does eventually lead to destruction.
People like the native Americans, who could live on the Earth for thousands of years and not upset the delicate ecosystem.
They were custodians of the ancient knowledge. Same with people in Africa or Asia or the ancient peoples of Europe.
Fighting and killing are natural, but not when you have weapons made that one person can decide the fate of everyone on the planet.
We think because we can dominate militarily through unfair technological means that we are superior.
But we have all seen how close the world has come to total destruction the last 50 years since the advent of the nuclear bomb.
It's only a matter of time before something really bad happens. And all of a sudden the world will be very lucky to survive in small pockets or Garden of Edens.
When they emerge they would have to start over and try and exist without the technology that eventually destroys the world. Or at least figure out a way to coexist.
It's greed. Greed forces us to do these things. To not just kick back and have a drink on the hammock and stare at the trees all day.
No. It's work work work. It's all about getting a step up on the other guy. It's all about stepping on the other guy. It's all about not caring about anything but yourself.
This is so wrong. You need to start thinking of everything as if that thing deserved your utmost respect. That is if you respect anything.
Well imagine it as yourself because people always respect themselves the most. Jesus said it too, but nobody ever does it. They gotta make sure they prove they are more tough than the other guy or something.
They wanna make sure you look away or people who cut ahead of you in line. On a larger scale it is people who are completely self centered and could care less that their actions could destroy the entire world.
If these guys had a nuke, they would act the same way, without regard to anybody but themselves.
