I listen to these idiots on the radio doing their version of therapy. Send them to an AA meeting, we can't help you. Just as we do not know how to deal with ourselves all that well, society doesn't really know how to deal with us. They send us to these meetings where other people with similar problems dwell, mandated by courts or relegated by circumstance.
I see all these people around me, not only with regards to addiction, but also career and trying to hold on to our dreams in a place that requires our full attention and money almost all of the time. Having children here seems to be a privilege for the upper class who can afford larger housing and meeting the needs of other people who depend on you. I hope one day to be there.
