Amnesty to a house burglar? They're people, too
Contributed by: William Kus   on 7/10/2007

Would you give amnesty to a burglar who just broke into your house?

Things you would not say to a burglar:

- "Hey, forget about the illegal breaking, I needed new locks anyway."

- "Make yourself at home, the fridge is over there."

- "Hey can you mow lawns?"

- "Take the extra room in the back, it's all yours."

- "You're just looking to feed your family, why don't you have them move in also."

I don't think anybody would say that to a burglar, or any other sort of criminal.

So why do we do that for people who illegally break into this country?

It's easy when you live in a nice neighborhood that's quiet and everyone is a citizen. Around here there is very little law, many of the businesses are illegally run and operated by illegal aliens.

Is it legal to rent to someone who is not in this country legally? It would seem they need some sort of proof.

If not, anybody could be renting the place, selling drugs, smuggling people and planning ways to make money because they can't work legally.

If anything ever happened the person could move out and never get caught because they don't have a real name.

Anybody could be living there, most likely some more Jose Padillas and other Al-Qaeda type people.

I was in the court system and none of the illegal aliens had to give any sort of proof of who they were.

All I heard the whole time in court was "Uh, what name do you usually use."

"Uh duh, You're listed here as Jose Guzman Gonzalez, not Jose Guzman, which one are you?"

"Oh it doesn't matter, it's not like you check ID or anything."

I walked up with my ID and the bailiff thought it was a joke. Actual proof of identity, what a joke.

Who cares who these people really are, let's just take their word for it that they are who they say they are.

It's not like they broke any previous laws, we can trust them. They didn't break into this country or anything.

I think it's one thing to break into someone's house. At least you live in the same country and you're keeping it between citizens.

It's another thing to break into someone else's country. That's more akin to an invasion.

What would happen if I snuck into Mexico and robbed someone. They'd treat me less than dirt.

But nobody uses that word because we're all friends with someone whose parents were obviously illegals.

It's a once in a blue moon chance that a Latin American came here legally. What would be the percentage? One legal for every 100 illegal? It would be more like 1000 illegal Latin Americans for every legal Latin American immigrant.

I'm not talking about people who cheat by sneaking over and then having kids here. Then using that as an excuse for amnesty.

Or because you feel sorry for your housekeeper or the guy who washes your car real good and shiny.

Go move in next door to that guy, and his family of 20 people. The neighborhood will be full of graffiti and other crimes committed by that guy's 20 relatives who don't have a job that allows an illegal alien to work.

Or how about the $20 billion U.S. dollars that get sent back to Mexico. Think that would help the U.S. economy more if the money stayed in America? Nah. Who cares?

Fact is there should not be any jobs that an illegal alien should be allowed to work. That seems to be in direct confrontation with the law.

It seems I have a real hard time having to pass Social Security checks and such. Why is it that it's so easy for illegals to find jobs and they don't speak a word of English?

Explain this, please.

America is a land of greedy business owners, homeowners and citizens who want cheap service.

Illegal aliens have no problem breaking the law, taking money from someone who deserves it legally and using it as an excuse to remain in this country.

Nobody feels sorry for a house burglar, why do we feel so sorry for people who break into our country?

Just because you don't live on the border, you don't see the thousands of people walking through your house.

Well America is your house and there are criminals breaking into your house every day.

Where I live it seems like the border. Very few people speak English, many of the businesses are run illegally and employ illegals. There is plenty of crime.

People think I'm a racist, but that's why there is a thing called "White Flight." People moved to the suburbs to get away from the crime.

There's a reason why Simi Valley and Santa Clarita were really nice. They are going downhill too as criminals move in to take advantage of the easy targets.

I can't say why it went downhill, I might be racist.

Although Mexico isn't a race, it's a country. It's like saying "American" is a race. It's not, it's a country.

The fact is Mexicans are more like Asians, from across the sea. They came over thousands of years ago. But "Asian" is not a race either. It's a continent.

People are stupid when they throw the word "racist" around without knowing it's meaning.

It's like saying I don't like people from Kansas coming to California. I'm not racist against whites or cows or whoever lives in Kansas. But that's how people react when you bring up political issues concerning a person's legal status.

It has nothing to do with race. You come here illegally, you get deported. That's how it used to be, why did it change?

You can be a German guy who is a Mexican citizen, and he crosses over to the United States without a passport, he should be deported back to Mexico.

Am I racist against people from Germany? Nope, of course not, that's ridiculous. But that's what people try to say when we send illegal aliens back to their original country.

This law applies to all people here illegally. Mexicans, Central Americans, South Americans, Koreans, Vietnamese, Canadians. It is all the same. It's not racism.

Actually it's the law. Everybody wanted to see Paris go to jail for driving without a license.

Well it's time to start arresting people for being in this country without legal documents.

I think proof of citizenship should take precedent over proof of a drivers license.

But if a cop pulls you over, he has to ignore your citizenship and only worry about whether you have a drivers license or not.

An illegal alien has just as much rights or more than a U.S. citizen, because they are allowed special rights above and beyond a normal citizen.

Illegal aliens have their right to privacy protected more than a U.S. citizen does. Everybody knows they're illegals and nobody will do anything about it.

They stand at Home Depot with a giant sign saying "I don't care if I'm here illegally, guero."

That is racist. Anytime you here the word "guero" or "gringo", that's racism.

I hear the word "guero" all the time. That's a common word used to describe white people because "gringo" is too obvious.

Around here it's an insult to speak English. People call you a "guero." It's great.Illegal immigration at its best.

I love being embarrassed to speak English in America. Ole~

If you've never experienced this behavior, you are not a white person and have never been to a predominantly non-English speaking area. But that non-English area is in America. It's a surreal experience.

It's surreal to live in America but it feels like you live in Mexico.

Just like San Fernando High School. The mural on their school is all Latin American people, and the American flag sits equally among half a dozen Latin American flags.

It's like we were at the Olympics and all the countries get represented equally in some neutral country.

If I was a tourist and someone brought me here to America by surprise, looking at that mural I wouldn't know if I was in Mexico, El Salvador or America. It's not important I guess.

This country has become decentralized. It's like Tijuana around here. And if you've ever been to Tijuana, you don't want America to turn into a shanty town, full of underage drinking and underage prostitution and a proliferation of drugs that anybody can get.

Why do you think all the under 18 people go. Or the over 18 go. It's common knowledge how easy it is to do stuff in Mexico legally that would be 100 percent illegal in America.

It's not what America needs. I don't like living in a Little TJ.
