Bunco Starts Friday at Palmdale Senior Center

The Palmdale Senior Center will begin hosting monthly bunco games this Friday, September 5, and continuing on the first Friday each month from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. The Palmdale Senior Center is located at 1002 East Avenue Q-12. This is a free event open to adults at least 55 years of age.

"Bunco is a game of dice played in rounds," said Palmdale Recreation Coordinator Jennifer Tallakson. "Players take turns rolling the dice and trying to accumulate as many points as possible to win each round. It's a simple game to play, so participants do not need to know how to play the game to join in," she said.
"Bunco is not just a game," said Tallakson. "It's a social event and a tremendous amount of fun. Plus, prizes will be awarded for most buncos, high and low game, roving bunco and a door prize."

The Palmdale Senior Center is open Mon. through Fri. 8 am to 4:30 pm. For more information call 267-5551.
