On July 7, installation of a new dog water fountain for the Small Dog Run area of Hull Park, located at 30th Street Westin Lancaster, will take place.
Soon, the mini-sized, playful pooches thatgo to this dog park will be able to enjoy refreshing water right in their own play area.
Due to this much-needed addition, the Large Dog Run area of the park will be closed temporarily on July 7 between 5 p.m. and late afternoon.
During this closure, the new water line for the Small Dog Run area will be installed. City staff apologizes for the inconvenience this may cause our loyal canine visitors.
In the end, this short closure will bring a much greater benefit to Hull Park and will result in the expansion of comfort services provided to our community.
"The patience and understanding of our citizens is greatly appreciated. In the long run, this will only add value to this very popular facility for our four-legged companions," said Interim Parks, Recreation and Arts Director
Bob Greene
.
