If you haven't already done so, there is still time to register for summer recreational activities through Lancaster Parks and Recreation.

Our summer line-up offers a variety of classes for a variety of age groups, interests and budgets.

Families can take advantage of theme-focused camps for kids including a cooking camp, gymnastics camp, orchestra camp, acting camp and back-to-school basics camp which will help your child gain an academic advantage. A complete list of classes can be found in the Outlook activity guide.

Registration is easy and convenient. Register for a number of classes online by visiting www.cityoflancasterca.org. Registrations are also accepted via phone by calling the Lancaster Parks, Recreation and Arts department at 661-723-6077.

Faxed registrations should be sent to 661-723-5913. Mail-in or in-person registrations can be submitted to City Hall at 44933 Fern Ave., between 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday or 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays.

Don't hesitate to dabble in art, learn a new language or dance your heart away, and discover life through recreation this summer!
