Latest Edition of Backdrop Palmdale Hits the Airwa

The new Fall/Winter 2008 edition of the City of Palmdale's Backdrop Palmdale is now airing on the City's television station, Channel 27.

"The new program is set at Palmdale's Second Annual Jazz & Wine Festival and features a variety of local news stories including the grand opening of Neighborhood House #2, special tips on xeriscaping, a preview of the City's hybrid power plant and all the great holiday events, which residents can look forward to this season," said Palmdale's Communications Manager John Mlynar.

Backdrop Palmdale airs on Palmdale Channel 27 on TimeWarner Cable and Channel 99 on AT&T's U-verse. "This episode also features important information on the Palmdale's new Connect-CTY emergency notification system, as well as the latest drop in crime statistics in the City," said Palmdale's Communications Specialist and Backdrop Palmdale host Armin Gomez.

Backdrop Palmdale airs every day at 6:30 am, 8 am, 10 am, 4 pm, 6 pm and 8 pm and is pre-empted for live City Council meeting cablecasts. All of the City's Channel 27 original programming and current schedules are also available on the City's Web site at www.cityofpalmdale.org. Click on the Channel 27 icon.
