Antelope Valley Service Organization meetings set

The Antelope Valley Service Organization Association (AVSOA) will hold meetings at 5 p.m.Mondays of Oct. 20 and 27, and Nov. 3 at 5 pm at the Palmdale Senior Center, 1002 East Avenue Q-12 to plan for the Veterans' Day event scheduled 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

The AVSOA comprises area services clubs and encourages community members to participate in the organization's four annual events. Its goals are to promote community involvement and recognize and pay tribute to those in the community who have - and are - serving the country.
