"Majestic Picturesque," an art exhibit of oil paintings by artist
Laurie Christensen
, runs through Sunday, Nov. 16, at the Palmdale Playhouse, 38334 10th Street East.
A reception for the artist will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16, from 6:30-8:30 pm. Both the exhibit and the reception are free and open to the public.
"This extensive exhibit of beautiful landscapes showcases Christensen's unique method of capturing realistic and natural views," said Palmdale Playhouse marketing manager
