At this year's Palmdale Fall Festival, for the second year in a row, Antelope Valley Mall will offer kids and adults a personal photo against a backdrop of Hollywood Blockbusters. The photos are taken against a "green screen" where images of movies will serve as a background. The resulting photograph will appear as though a person is in the movie with its characters.

Partnering with the Salvation Army in addressing a local food shortage, AV Mall is offering a free picture to anyone bringing three non-perishable food items. For those without the food contribution, the cost will be a $3.00 donation per photo. Both the food donations and dollars earned will be passed on to the Salvation Army. Tricia Granger, Marketing Director at Antelope Valley Mall stated, "What more can you ask for? This activity is a lot of fun for those participating at the Fall Festival, but it additionally helps fill up the Salvation Army's food bank."

This year's Palmdale Fall Festival is the weekend of October 11th and 12th.
