If you're walking around the Antelope Valley Fair, you may run into the most whimsical baby buggy you've ever seen.
And if you drop your extra change into it, you will help heal children in the Antelope Valley who have suffered abuse or who need a little extra support to stay with their families, instead of ending up in foster care, or who need some help with preparing to succeed in a kindergarten school-readiness program.
The Children's Center of the Antelope Valley will hold its "Coins for Kids" campaignat the fair fromAug. 22-Sept. 1.
The hope is that shoppers will toss their extra coins into the baby buggy, which will go a long way to support the many programs for children and their families at the center.
